My next decision was a hard one as well. Who are we gonna have cut it?? Originally I was gonna have Angie, who does my hair do it but then I got to thinking, I want to do the first haircut with someone who specializes in children's hair. We ended up taking Abby to a place in Meridian called "2 Bee a Kid". I was very impressed. They are very kid friendly. They had a powerwheels jeep, regular chair and a mini quad that the kids could sit in for their cuts. She received a 1st haircut certificate and some of her hair to keep. They also gave them candy or cookies whichever they wanted. Abby of course had her smarties & a lollipop. Abby loved the little jeep, makes me want to run out and buy her one right now! She did not enjoy the haircut at all. She cried and screamed the whole time. It was worth it though. She looks bee-u-t-ful!! I can finally see her gorgeous eyes again beneath all that hair! Afterwards we took her to Wendy's and treated her to her favorite lunch - chicken nuggets and french fries!

1st Haircut
There comes a time when every mother has to decide if she is going to cut her daughters beautiful hair or not. I have been struggling with this for several weeks. There have been days when I said yes I can't see her face and her hair needs to be cleaned up and days where its like there is NO WAY I am gonna cut her hair. I want it to be long and beautiful like mine was when I was a toddler. So I finally decided that it was time for us to have her beautiful hair cut (more like a trim). Her bangs were in her eyes an you couldn't see them, the back of her head looked a little ragged, so I had my mind made up, its time!!
